The 1986 Governor's Awards for Excellence & Achievement in the Arts were awarded to Van Deren Coke, Doris Cross, Cleofes Ortiz, Elmer Schooley, Dr. John Glowaki, Max Roybal, and Cottonwood Printing Co. Recipients were chosen by the New Mexico Arts Commission.
